Anna Branham is a University of New Mexico student attending Casa Xalteva as part of a Spring 2009 study abroad program. As part of the program she had to fulfill and internship requirement. Anna investigated the evolution of Nicaraguan art.
Casa de los Tres Mundos is a cultural center near Parque Central in Granada. In addition to offering a number of workshops in the arts, they host many events every month including musical performances, international movies, lectures, and dance. Check out their monthly schedule here!
Los niños de casa xalteva y Robert.
Cada viernes por la mañana los niños del programa de Casa Xalteva tienen un desayuno especial, este desayuno especial lo reciven los niños que vienen cada dia y vienen puntual, el desayuno de hoy, lo patrocino un estudiante llamado ROBERT, y los niños con mucha alegria dijeron : GRACIAS POR EL DESAYUNO ESPECIAL ¡¡¡
Y por primera vez el equipo de beisbol : Iguanas de Casa Xalteva participan en un campeonato, todos los chavalos estaban muy emocionados, disfrutando de su nuevo uniforme y el deseo de empezar el juego, al fin de la mañana las igunas perdieron sus dos primeros juegos, por nocaut pero aun asi ellos no estaban deprimidos,

El proyecto SI QUIERES PUEDEN REIR , es un exito… 500 niños que recibieron su paquete de utiles escolares, y no solo ellos, sus padres y maestros estaban muy contentos, por que muchos de estos niños no estaban asistiendo a clase por no tener sus utiles escolares, gracias a todas las personas que hicieron posible este sueño…
Reminding all Northeastern-ly located Xalteva alums, enthusiasts, or enthusiastic alumni that the first ever reunion is tomorrow evening from 7-9 pm at Cafe Chabron at 168-170 Orchard Street. I’ll be the guy wearing the one piece lycra Xalteva branded bodysuit wrestling with the bouncer. Ok, I won’t have the bodysuit, but I will sport the Xalteva shirt and try to be awkwardly conspicuous. I didn’t make reservations, but I’ll inform the hostess…if there is one, that people may be asking for the Xalteva group.

La segunda y tercer semana de clase los estudiantes de Nuevo Mexico, han expresado lo bueno que se han sentido en Casa Xalteva, ya se puede ver el avance de su español. Como he dicho siempre cada persona que viene a Casa Xalteva se da cuenta que no existe otro lugar igual.
Un pastel, piñata, baile, musica en vivo y mucha divercion, esta fue la bienvenida de otro grupo mas de la univercidad de nuevo mexico. cada uno de ellos aprende y hace crecer esta unica ISLA en el mundo, llena de amor, amistad y humildad.
